Click on the image below for examples of how Davidsonia could look on ubcbotanicalgarden.org. There are more options than I can show here but this is a good starting point. All of the text is fully searchable and will show up in search engines. We can also opt to have the journal either public (meaning people can find it through searching through the issuu.com database) or we can have it private (meaning it would only appear on our site). The former is a good way to branch out and get more subscribers and interest about the publication but does come at a cost. We can also choose to have people be able to comment/or not and have it downloadable or not. It's very customizable and the image is scaleable. All we need to do is upload a PDF and then embed the code on our site (minimal work on our end). The theme below is a standard one but we can also create our own customized one. Audio can also be added to the files in the future.

There are two versions - a free version (it has advertising) and a paid version (no advertising and a few more added features). The paid version is only $19 USD per month and we can upload as many publications as we want. (not just Davidsonia) going forward. We can also unsubscribe at any time and if we want to switch to a free membership we can do that too without any penalty or losing any of our documents.

Example 1 - double page spread (w/green background). Once you click on this it will load in full screen. At the top there are some icons (one is a single rectangle over 2 rectanges. This allows you to switch from a double page spread to a single page or a continuous single page format.
